Meet Katherine Haver
Co-creator of Galveston Prime
Katherine Haver is a Nutritional Science student at LSU. She decided to start Galveston Prime to give people her age a helping hand in leading a better lifestyle. Through her degree and work with the Galveston Diet, she has realised that dependable, evidence based health knowledge needs to be more accessible for other people her age in order to help them lead a long, healthy life.
She loves trying new, fun recipes, encouraging people to cook, and is excited to bring this program to others! Katherine LOVES coffee, is currently a lifeguard on the beach, and is a huge reader.
Meet Dr. Mary Claire Haver
Co-creator of Galveston Prime
Mary Claire Haver, MD, is a wife, mom, physician, and entrepreneur. She graduated from Medical School in 1998 from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She then completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She remains board certified by the American Council of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Along with her practice in Women’s Health, she is the creator and founder of The Galveston Diet – which she has proudly led thousands through to better health.
Dr. Haver and Katherine wanted to create a realistic way for young people to navigate health by using scientific, peer reviewed research in every step.
